Unfortunately, the conference cannot be joined virtually. However, we will be hosting
several webinars via zoom, which will be shared with our mailing list. You are welcome
to participate in the webinars.
In college classrooms around the world, Life Worth Living programs are inviting each
of us to ask and to respond to life's biggest questions.
The Life Worth Living (LWL) faculty network, headquartered at Yale's Center for Faith
and Culture, foregrounds the most important question of our lives: What is a life
worth living? Designed to remedy a lack of personal, authentic engagement with questions
of meaning in higher education, the LWL approach equips students, educators, and the
public for the lifelong process of discerning, articulating, and pursuing flourishing
life. Students and teachers consider the breadth of human experience by engaging philosophical
and religious traditions that answer our most profound existential questions. Students
and educators are invited to articulate and live their own answers to these fundamental
questions.
To accelerate the growth of the Life Worth Living network, the project team at Yale's
Center for Faith and Culture alongside partners from around the world, including Dr. Zachary C. Wooten, are working to support course development and teacher formation through sub-granting
and training programs.
For instructors already familiar with the LWL approach, the project team is developing
"hubs": centers of excellence that will promote the approach, recruit new educators
to adopt it, and explore ways to expand its influence.
One such hub is the Leadership Hub at WCU.
The Leadership Hub, offering the Life Worth Living course "Leadership and the Good
Life" to honors undergraduate students since 2017, is creating resources, running
workshops, and hosting a conference for leadership educators and others to participate
in the LWL network.

Absolutely! Two papers will be presented in each room during each session. You are
welcome to move freely between rooms if you'd like to attend different papers within
the same time block.
We will provide a light breakfast and a lunch during Friday's conference. Thursday
night will be a wine and mingle welcoming event. Please indicate which meals you will
be present for on your conference registration.
