Mid-Atlantic Council of Latin American Studies (MACLAS) An interdisciplinary association that promotes and develops interest in Latin American
studies and affairs. Each year we hold a conference somewhere in the mid-Atlantic
region.
Latin American Studies Association (LASA) LASA's mission is to foster intellectual discussion, research, and teaching on Latin
America, the Caribbean, and its people throughout the Americas; to promote the interests
of its diverse membership; and to encourage civic engagement through network building
and public debate.
WCU Latin American Students Association (LASO) LASO is an organization which is committed to advocating on behalf of all Latino students
as well as educating the community. LASO strives to create a conductive and supportive
atmosphere on the campus of West Chester University for all students, not just those
of Latin descent.
WCU Hispanic Heritage Celebration Hispanic/Latino Heritage Month at WCU provides a variety of opportunities, from academic
to entertaining, for the campus and local community to learn more about and enjoy
the richness of Hispanic and Latino culture.
PanAmerican Association of Philadelphia We are a concerned group of people from the Philadelphia area who share an interest
in the people and countries of the New World - the Americas. We are from all walks
of life, and from all of the countries of the Western Hemisphere. We are educators,
political scientists, diplomats, business and community leaders, students, and just
plain concerned citizens.
PANAMPHILLY: Alejandro Reyes Scholarship This $5,000 award is presented by the Pan American Association of Philadelphia to
a Junior Year undergraduate student to be used for his or her expenses of a Senior
Year in a college or university of the Delaware Valley area.

Biennial Latina/o Literary Theory & Criticism Conference at CUNY John Jay College. This conference aims to draw a critical mass of U.S. Latina/o literary
critics and theorists, both foundational thinkers and emerging voices.
