Navigate Training

Title Description

Add/Drop Attendance Report

This class will walk you through completing an Add/Drop Attendance Report. The University is required to note student attendance immediately after the drop/add deadline to comply with federal financial aid requirements.

Faculty are asked to record student attendance via Navigate attendance rosters. This report is required from all classes in session. The Navigate Add/Drop Attendance Report replaces the report on MyWCU.
This report launches the second week of classes each semester.

Progress Reports

Progress Reports allow WCU to connect students with resources and break down barriers to success. Progress Reports proactively request feedback from faculty and strategic questions.

This class will walk you through the process of completing Progress Reports in Navigate, share tips, and outline the processes in place once you raise a student alert.
Process: Each semester instructors* will receive an email request for feedback on a selected population of students around week 4 or 5 of the semester.

Spring 2024 dates: Launch 2/7/2024 - deadline 2/27/2024. *not every instructor will receive a progress report request

My Students Only Reports

This course will walk you through how to create a report in Navigate that shows all the alerts/referrals, and Kudos your students received during the semester.

This is a great way to keep a pulse on your students to see who is getting alerts, referrals, and kudos.

Intro to Navigate

Before a Navigate account can be issued, each staff member needs to attend an Intro to Navigate training class. This class is 1-hour long. You must have a current FAFSA certification to attend. This session can be scheduled at your convenience by emailing Navigate@wcupa.edu.
