GSA President's Welcome Letter 2024-2025
Dear Fellow Graduate Students,
On behalf of the Graduate Student Association (GSA) at West Chester University (WCU),
I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2024-2025 academic year! Whether you are returning
to continue your academic journey or joining us for the first time, we are excited
to have you as part of WCU's vibrant community.
We are committed to ensuring our voices are heard.
GSA serves as the representative body for graduate students, providing a platform
to express our collective concerns and work towards the welfare and advancement of
all WCU graduate students. Our graduate student community is incredibly diverse, encompassing
a wide range of identities and responsibilities, from international students and working
professionals to parents and first-generation scholars. We understand the unique challenges
graduate students face and are determined to address them by fostering a supportive
and inclusive environment.
Together, we can drive meaningful change.
Throughout this academic year we will be hosting various in-person and virtual events,
workshops, and networking opportunities to help graduate students connect with their
peers, faculty, staff, and industry professionals. We encourage you to get involved,
share your ideas, and take advantage of these resources that are FREE FOR YOU as Graduate
Students of WCU.
You can connect with us and stay on the loop by joining our RamConnect page, following us on Instagram (@gsa_wcupa), sending us an email, or collaborating with us in other ways to make a positive impact on our community.
I look forward to another productive and rewarding academic year ahead.
Warm regards,
Matheeha Majeeth
