Registration: Undergraduate Non-Degree - College Graduates

Information for College Graduates

West Chester University recognizes the value of students continuing their education after they have graduated with an undergraduate degree. Post-baccalaureate students register in the undergraduate non-degree program for a variety of reasons including personal growth, professional development and the need to obtain prerequisite requirements for admission into graduate school. Students with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree would register as an undergraduate non-degree student if they are planning to register for undergraduate level classes.

Admission Requirements

In addition to the Undergraduate Non-Degree Term and Conditions, post-baccalaureate candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 from the accredited institution that issued the degree
  • Proof of undergraduate degree with conferral date specified
  • If prerequisites are required for the course, students must possess necessary prerequisite coursework and/or demonstrate, prior to enrollment, minimum performance competencies required for the course

Required Supporting Documentation

Along with the Non-Degree Application, students must submit the following:

  • Unofficial/official transcript from institution that issued the degree
    • Must show a minimum GPA of 2.0 and degree confer date
    • Must be from an accredited institution of higher education
    • Must show name of the student and logo/name of the institution
  • If prerequisites are required for the course, proof that minimum performance competencies for the course have been met (this can be a transcript showing requisite course work.

How to Register

Once your application and all required materials have been submitted, reviewed, and you have been admitted to the undergraduate non-degree program, you will receive your WCU account information which allows you access to you:

    • WCU email address
    • RamPortal (self-service registration and academic records), and
    • D2L

1. Once you have access to RamPortal, login to review the start of your registration period.  (Use Chrome or Edge to access RamPortal)

2. Once your time-ticket has begun, use RamPortal to register for your classes .  If any of your courses have prerequisites, you will need to contact the

Registrar's Office

for assistance.
