Ram Card

The Ram Card is your official West Chester University ID card which allows for swipe access to campus buildings, bookstore discounts, employee meal plan options, on-campus event access, and more. All newly hired employees are issued a Ram Card at no cost. Lost, stolen, damaged, and change of name replacement cards cost $20.

Campus Climate Intervention Team

The Campus Climate Intervention Team (CCIT) was established to foster an institution-wide climate free from acts of intolerance or prejudice, and to establish protocol for responding to and monitoring acts of intolerance or prejudice should they occur.  Acts of intolerance or prejudice are behaviors that are threatening, intimidating, and/or offensive toward a person or group of people based on their gender, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation.

State Employee Assistance Program (SEAP)

SEAP is a confidential, free assessment and referral service that is designed to assist employees and their family members in resolving a wide variety of personal problems that may lead to deteriorating employee job performance. SEAP specifically offers services related to:

  • substance abuse
  • mental health issues
  • family issues
  • mediation stress
  • job burnout
  • depression
  • eating disorders
  • financial or legal concerns
  • anxiety
  • death and dying
  • parent-child conflict
  • relationship problems
  • work-related problems

SEAP is administered by a third party (Optum) and is completely confidential and available 24/7. Employees have up to (6) face-to-face sessions for themselves and each family member, for each issue or problem, and the benefit renews each calendar year. SEAP also offers discounted legal mediation services and free telephonic financial or telephonic legal consultation.
