• Handling financial, student or personnel data/records - This position will provide general assistance with:
- Assist customers via phone, walk-in, and remote support. Answer and respond to Help Desk requests and inquiries. Monitor the Help Desk ticketing system for open tickets. Assist with equipment troubleshooting and installation of software when needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Specific duties as they relate to this department:
- • Deliver customer support via phone, walk-in, and remotely in a Help Desk environment • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of computer-related problems • Distinguish between Level 1 and Level 2 end-user problems, evaluate and solve • Clean computers • Install peripherals and supporting software • Train and support other interns • Document work performed • Assist in maintenance of inventory and other records • Assist with basic customer system repairs
- Learning Outcomes:
- IT Help Desk interns will gain work experience in real world settings and gain exposure to Technology infrastructure.
