Digital Media Center (DMC)
The Digital Media center (DMC) provides multimedia resources and services to the West Chester University faculty, staff and students. The DMC is a division of the Information Services Department. Services at the DMC include; equipment loans, transfers/duplications, video editing, studio productions, sound system assistence, CD/DVD publishing, event videography and file conversions. The DMC promotes the growth of innovative digital media technologies across campus. The center is an affirmation to WCU’s commitment to using emerging technologies on campus. DMC Student Worker duties include: Monitor operations desk, Greet DMC customers/Loan equipment, Light office duties (answer phones, take messages, make copies, inventory, cleaning, monitor desk), Basic classroom, studio, and multimedia set-ups, Transfers, Duplications and Labeling, Learn basic editing and Inter-office courier (run errands/make deliveries).
