Inspiration
As stated by Maya Angelou, “my mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive.”
I have always been acutely aware that this pursuit is made harder for some of us than
others, and I remain inspired by the ability for many of us to persevere. There is
limitless potential within social work to transform lives, communities, and policies
should the profession commit to self-examination and evolution. I’m committed to supporting
this evolution through cultivating innovative, ethically sound, informed future social
workers.
