Biography

Reagan Smiley is a long-standing member of the WCU Geography & Planning adjunct faculty, with over 10 years of teaching experience. She also received both her Bachelor's and Master's in Geography from West Chester University. Prior to teaching at West Chester University, Professor Smiley worked for the Chester County Planning Department as a Community Planner with an emphasis on GIS. While she has taught many different courses at West Chester University, Professor Smiley specializes in Business Geography courses, connecting the business and economic development fields with GIS. Professor Smiley stays up-to-date on the newest GIS technology by taking courses offered by ESRI, one of the world's leading GIS software companies.
