2026 Summer Housing
Taking a Summer class or working for a West Chester University office or department and want the convenience of living on campus?
Apply for on-campus housing this summer!
Students interested in living on campus will be able to live with either WCU Managed Housing or USH Affiliated Housing. If students are living on campus for Fall 2026, they should apply for Summer Housing with the housing provider they are living with in the fall. For example, a student living in Schmidt Hall in Fall 2026 should apply for WCU Managed Housing for Summer 2026.
Students living on-campus currently or living off-campus and moving onto campus in WCU Managed Housing for the summer will move-in to their Summer Housing assignment on Friday, May 15, 2026. More instructions will be provided in their summer housing assignment letter.
Students not living on-campus in Fall 2026 will need to move-out of WCU Managed Summer Housing on August 2, 2026. If students will not be available on August 2, 2026, to move-out, plans should be made to move-out before that date.
Summer Housing Applications open Monday, February 16, 2026. Please access the WCU Managed Summer Housing Application by following the steps below:
- Log into RamPortal
- Click on the Housing & Dining Card
- Click on Summer Housing Application
- Complete the Summer 2026 WCU Managed Summer Housing Application and indicate the dates that you will need to stay on campus.
Students that are approved and provided summer housing will be sent their Summer 2026 WCU Managed Housing Assignment in mid-to-late March 2026.
