WINTER BREAK HOURS INFORMATION:

The Resource Pantry & Benefits Hub will be closing at 12pm on Friday, December 12th until 10am on Tuesday, January 6th.

Students in need of support may email the pantry@wcupa.edu from Monday, 12/15 to Tuesday, 12/23 for assistance. Pantry staff will be offline beginning Wednesday, 12/24 until Monday, 1/5. The Pantry will operate on limited hours over winter break:

Tuesday, January 6th - Thursday, January 8th from 10am-2pm

Tuesday, January 13th - Thursday, January 15th from 10am-2pm

CLOSED Mondays, Fridays and Weekends.  Normal hours (10am-4pm weekdays) begin Tuesday, 1/20/26

During our closures, we recommend students in need visiting the West Chester Food Cupboard or using Chester County Food Bank's Food Finder to locate food providers closest to them.

The West Chester University Resource Pantry supports student success by minimizing food and basic need insecurity and preparing students for life after graduation.

How the Pantry Works

  • The Resource Pantry is open to ALL undergraduate and graduate students at West Chester University, regardless of need level.
  • No appointment necessary, walk-ins are welcome at any time during our hours of operation.

Ways to support the Pantry

Financial Contributions: Monetary donations are greatly appreciated because they allow us to purchase the items that we need the most when we need them.

Food and Item Contributions: In-person donations are accepted during our hours of operation.

Amazon Wish List: The Resource Pantry has launched an Amazon Wish List. Now, you can order donations of our most-needed items online and have them shipped right to our front door!

Donation Drives
